Spaces in León and Guanajuato will be hosting the Relieves program as part of the 15th FEMSA Biennial. On this occasion, Casa Bruja, in Torre Andrade, will screen Escocia no es un banco and host a talk with one of the directors, Cristian Franco Martín.

Escocia no es un banco (2022) is a mockumentary about Los Nuevos Maevans, a hardcore-punk group that emerged in the eighties in Baja California. Directed by Cristian Franco Martín and Carlos Matsuo, the story narrates the efforts of one of the members to reunite the band and revive the counterculture youth movement amidst a discouraging panorama. 

There will be commentary from Cristian Franco Martín after the screening.
