Jardín Allende, Barrio Arriba
From its sixteenth-century origins, this park in León’s Barrio Arriba quarter—one of the oldest and most traditional parts of town, founded by the city’s Afro-descendent community and later home to the city’s tanning industry—has been a space for coming together, celebrating and spending time with the family.
